My name is Carlos Martínez-Sebastián. I’m a madrilenian astrophysicist. I’m currently doing my Ph.D. in the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias working in the IACOB project. My main interest is in quantitative spectroscopy of Massive Stars in their early phases to learn about their evolution. In particular, I am an expert in surface chemical abundance determination in O stars.
In this website you will find my online-home. In the different pages, you will get to know more about me and my work. Most of the pages are in english, but «blog» and «outreach» will be mostly in Spanish, as I think it is part of my duty participating in the cultural creation in my native tongue.
